Let’s ring in the fall time feeling with a gathering of friends new and old! Join us at the compost pile for an outdoor screening of the Cohen Brothers' SFV based classic, The Big Lebowski. Refreshments will be provided but BYOB encouraged, pizza will be on hand until it runs out, and the good times will be flowing freely. Costumes of all kinds will be rewarded with ripe pomegranates! Donations welcome but not mandatory.

Experience a TED-style talk, storytelling, music, dance, ceremony and community dialogue. A part of Chalk Rep’s “Open Circle” salon series that brings together artists and art-lovers for community and conversation. Event will take place outdoors at an active community composting hub and urban farm.

Please dress appropriately for an outdoor garden setting and be mindful of the weather as the temperature can be hot or chilly this time of year. If you've been curious about meditation or need a refresher, this Beginners Meditation Class is a great way to get started. This is a free community event led by Bhante Sanathavihari of the Sarathchandra Buddhist Center.
Bring a blanket, mat, or anything you are comfortable meditating on and a bottle of water. There will me limited chairs and benches at the farm. This class will be held outdoors. Dress comfortably and bring a jacket or sweatshirt in case the temperature drops closer to sunset. Please be aware there are no public restrooms available at the farm at this time. Parking is available next door at Trinity Baptist Church. Admission is Free. No reservation required. Compost for the Community!
