This class is designed for curious beginners, home gardeners, and anyone interested in understanding how cannabis can be grown responsibly in a backyard or garden setting.
Together we’ll walk through the full life cycle of the plant—from seed to harvest—while exploring the practical decisions that shape a successful grow. Farmer Matt will share real-world experience and approachable techniques that help demystify the process and empower people to cultivate confidently at home.
Along the way we’ll touch on topics such as:
• Understanding different cannabis varieties and choosing the right plant for your needs
• Preparing a healthy outdoor growing space with the right soil, sun, and water
• Organic plant care, feeding, and pest management
• Reading plant signals and responding to seasonal changes
• Harvesting, drying, and curing for quality and flavor
We’ll also be hosting a raffle with plant starts and cultivation supplies, giving a few lucky participants the chance to leave with additional tools and plants to help get their garden started.
